Stress-Buster!
We carry a lot of tension in our neck &
shoulders; in fact, most of us actually unconsciously hold one shoulder
higher than the other. This can strain neck, back and shoulder muscles
and cause such things as tension headaches and stiff necks.
Try this: While in your normal posture,
take special notice of the position of your shoulders. If you’re like
many of us, you’ll find that one is raised higher than the other and
you can lower it by just taking a deep breath and relaxing your upper
body as you exhale. The moist heat, and the weight of the Walkabout
helps to relax this tension and bring that shoulder down, thereby easing
tenseness throughout the whole body.
